Support Groups

Hospice Home Care offers a bereavement support group in each office at various times of the month. If you would like to attend, please contact the office that served you. You are not alone in this journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Qualifies for Hospice Care?
Someone with a life-limiting diagnosis who seeks medical care for comfort rather than for a cure. Two physicians (the attending physician and hospice medical director) must certify that a patient has a terminal illness and will have six months or fewer to live if the disease runs its normal course.
Is Hospice Covered by Insurance?
Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances plans pay for hospice services. Hospice Home Care strives to ensure all who need care can take advantage of hospice services.
Who Can Refer a Patient to Hospice?
