Atrium’s Pinning Event

The Atrium at Serenity Pointe medical staff received Certificates of Completion and Angel Pins for completing professional end-of-life credentialing & training. Attendees completed eight educational modules presented by Hospice Home Care’s Patient Care Representative, Cyndi Muncrief.

The Atrium medical staff are the first in Hot Springs to successfully complete the Hospice Home Care End-of-Life Credentialing Series. Various subject matter topics were covered by the modules including; What to Expect from Hospice, Spirituality, Emotions & Medical Concerns, Comfort & Symptom Control, Planning to Care Together, Nutrition at the End-of-Life, Critical Conversations, and The Final Hours & Bereavement.

The goal of this extensive credentialing process is to teach proven methods for providing the highest level of planning and care for terminally ill long term care facility residents and their families.

Comfort and peace on the end of life's journey

TRIBUTE OF LIFE FOUNDATION

Facing the end of life can be hard. Facing it alone, in the absence of family, friends, financial resources and qualified caregivers, is even harder.

The Tribute of Life Foundation believes that everyone deserves to complete their journey in a warm, clean bed, surrounded by people who care deeply about meeting their medical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. Through our 'No One is Alone' initiative, we are committed to funding two beds in the Comfort Care Center for people who could not afford it otherwise.
